A little off the top
With the help of his daughters and Rayanne Ottenbreit, musician Jon Tieszen gave up part of his generous coiffure at the kickoff to the 15th Annual Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer Head-Shaving Event at the Parkland Mall on Saturday morning. Tieszen’s fundraising efforts fell short of the $2,000 goal he set as a condition to going completely bald, but the hair he lost will form a wig for a cancer patient and the $550 he brought in will fund cancer research through the Canadian Cancer Society. The main Close Cuts for Cancer event is Saturday, May 26.
