The Yorkton Film Festival and Yorkton Lions Club co-hosted another fantastic Lobsterfest! Every May, Yorkton hosts the longest-running film festival in North America, bringing the best of Canadian short film to the prairies. Lobsterfest is purposely planned the same weekend so that our attendees can join with the citizens of Yorkton for a Wild Prairie Experience. The Wild Prairie Experience is a unique mixture of Lobsters, laughter, and skeet shooting. This year’s Lobsterfest had an outstanding turnout as we fed over three hundred and forty people. Lobsterfest is an annual event, so if you are interested in getting tickets for next year’s dinner please contact the Yorkton Lions Club or the Yorkton Film Festival for more information.
