Under the gavel
Three empty lake front lots at York Lake went up for public auction Sunday. The 100-foot lot brought a price of $117,000 for a 30-year lease on the provincially-owned, and Regional Park Authority-managed property. The next lot brought a bid price of $91,000 for a 75-foot lot, which was rejected by the park board. The board said they needed $100,000 to sell the lease. The bidder agreed. The third lot did not sell at the auction.
