No matter which team you were looking at, it wasn't a good result for the Battlefords Thursday night.
In SJHL action, the Battlefords North Stars loss their third straight game as they hosted the Flin Flon Bombers. The North Stars fell 9-1 with Dillan McCombie leading the way with a hat trick and an assist for Flin Flon.
The North Stars have one game remaining before the end of the holiday break and would like to right ship that has been out scored 17-1 in their last three games.
In Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League action, the Battlefords Stars and Beardy's Blackhawks played a neutral site game in Meadow Lake Thursday. The Stars fell behind 4-0 and trailed 4-1 after the first period eventually losing 7-4.
