This book published in 1995 by the Electa Press of Windsor, Ontario was translated from the Dutch by Hendrika Ruger, with a Preface By J.Th.J. Krijff, gives an account of Dutch immigrants to Western Canada. 100 Years Ago Dutch Immigration to Manitoba in 1893 by J. Th.J. Krijff. The book contains history of Dutch immigrants to Manitoba and the North West Territories back to 1886. It all began with a display about immigration to Canada by the Canad1an Pacific Railway at the World's Fair held in Amsterdam in 1883. To many Dutch people, immigration to North America meant going to the United States, so it was with interest that some people began to consider Canada as a destination. Some of these folks came to the Yorkton area. To name a few, there was Henry Rudolph Roosmale Nepveu, a banker who married Katherina Reaman, daughter of York Colonist pioneer Joel Reaman, and Frederik Robbert Insinger both of whom ranched in the Willowbrook district. These two men had above average education, spoke 4 languages, had business experience and had become interested in ranching. F.R. Insinger served on the Territorial Government Legislature from 1892-1897.

My 38 Years In America by Klaas De Vries. Een Aengenaeme Vrientschap by Jan Th. J. Krijff. This deals with historical events between the Netherlands and Canada from 1862 to 1914.
