MARILYN PASLOSKE

Marilyn Mary-Jean (Moore) Pasloske passed away peacefully at home on April 26, 2012 at the age of 52. Marilyn will be missed by husband Gary, father Glen Moore & partner Denise Barlow. Eldest daughter Barbara Hudy, daughter Kathy Monette, husband Dallas, their father Wayne Hudy, grandchildren, Josilyn, James and Brooke. She was predeceased by mother Nellie in 1993, brother Robert in 2003 and brother Randy, 2012. Marilyn was born in Yorkton, attending school, she enjoyed baseball and track & field. Her love of horses became evident at a young age. She was small in stature, but strong of will & was approached by horse owners to become a jockey. After numerous jobs in Prince Albert, La Ronge and Edmonton, she returned to Yorkton. A stay at home mom, Marilyn began a day care in her home. Her girls were a great part of her life, she became a Brownie Leader. Marilyn had a huge heart and abundantly aware of people in need. Organizing fund raisers & Bar-B-Ques for those she knew needed a “little help from a friend”. She was also instrumental in acquiring donations for Christmas Hampers. She was caring & understanding. Marilyn along with husband Gary began to purchase rental properties. Graveside service along with interment was held on Friday, May 4, 2012 in the Garden of Memories at Yorkton Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ken Buchan officiating. Those so wishing may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Charity of Choice in honour of Marilyn’s life. Funeral arrangements were in care of Bailey’s Funeral Home.
