New film club created

Film buffs in the Battlefords, take note.

Efforts are underway to create a new film club in the Battlefords, with plans to show a wide variety of films at the North Battleford Public Library.

The plan is for the film club to show films twice a month in the library theatre.

The effort is being organized by News-Optimist reporter Alex McPhail, who is seeking input from film fans interested in the endeavour.

Right now the club is in its early stages of development. McPhail is looking for information about what days of the week would work best to hold the events.

Those interested or seeking more information are encouraged to contact film.inthebattlefords@gmail.com.
