I would like to thank the two young people who stopped and helped my teenage daughter after our one-year-old Sheltie was hit on Territorial Drive Monday at lunch time.
Without them there to help her with the sudden death of our beloved pet, I donít know what I would do. They were there to help a 17-year-old girl who had just witnessed something no one should have to witness. Others stopped, too, and I thnak them as well, but these two young people stayed with my daughter and carried her dog home for her. They also waited for my arrival home from work and offered to help in any way they could.
They were so compassionate and we cannot thank them enough.
I know the young ladyís name is Ashton Kryzanowski, but I am not sure what the young manís name was. He was clearly on his way to or from work, wearing a reflective vest, yet he took the time to do this for us.
I appreciate what they did so much. We both do.
Please people, slow down. Life doesnít have to be so busy. This pet was much more than a pet. He was truly a part of our family and he will be missed immensely.
