MUNRO — Iona Isabel

Iona Isabel (McConnell) Munro - Feb. 11, 1921 - May 28, 2012. The death of Mrs. Iona Isabel Munro aged 91 years, formerly of Yorkton and Lanigan occurred at the Lucky Lake Primary Care Home on Monday May 28, 2012. Iona was predeceased by parents, Daisy and Archibald Murray; first husband, Ivan McConnell; second husband, Arthur Munro; sister and brother-in-law Orma and Walter Murray; brother Lloyd Murray. She is survived by nieces and nephews; Clarice and Fred Rodgers, Cupar, SK; James and Sheron Murray, Salmon Arm, BC; Shirley and Murray Peddle, Craik, SK; Brian Murray, Cupar, SK; Alvin and Angie Murray, Regina, SK; and their families. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and in-laws on the McConnell side of the family, and cousins on the Murray side of the family as well as many friends. The Funeral Service was held in Knox United Church in Lanigan on Monday June 4th at 2 p.m. Interment followed in Lanigan Cemetery. For those so wishing donations to Lucky Lake Primary Care Home would be appreciated. Fotheringham – McDougall Funeral Service Watrous in care of arrangements.
