Rain forced the Yorkton Legion's annual D-Day Parade indoors on June 6. After completing the usual Decoration Day Services inside the Legion Hall with Legion officials, veterans, armed forces personnel, and youth group members, organizers took advantage of a break in the weather to perform the Scattering of the Ashes ceremony at the Yorkton City Cemetery.
