SALTCOATS - Noon potlucks this summer

The monthly Noon Pot Luck Luncheons continue during the summer months. Mark the calendar for July 16 at the Saltcoats Stirling Room. The donation basket is out to help defray expenses. Call 744-8169 if you need a ride to this noon lunch.

Anglican Church worship is being held in the lower hall Sundays at 9:00 a.m. July 1 will have NO service.

Attending Norma Bruce’s recent birthday party were daughter Linda of Yorkton, granddaughter Tara, great granddaughter Rachael, both of Saskatoon, daughter May of Churchbridge, Mary Underwood of Foam Lake, Mrs. Martinuk and Brenda Cameron of Yorkton, Jessie Wade of Churchbridge and Irene Marozoff.

Lakeside Manor Care Home of Saltcoats Raffle for May winners were: Glass bird bath to Marilyn Holstein, Mano’s gift certificate to Mary Schick, flower arrangement to Sharon Prazma, bath gift set to Kathy Stychshyn, chocolate mint bath to Randy Schick, solar light to Paulette Namaka, tea pot to Kenneth Jacobs, needlepoint cushion to Gail Strukoff.

Nina Cross was in Weyburn enjoying a few days with son Ernie.

United Church worship on June 24 is at 10:00 a.m. as this is the joint service of Four Town Patoral Charge. The July 1 worship is at 9:00 a.m. and its communion. Mark your calendar for July 8, 11:00 a.m. at Castleton.

Visiting with Mary Sharkey was daughter Bernice Heibert of Regina.

Saltcoats Library latest block exchange included Adult nonfiction, talking books, adult large print as well as and easy block. Stop in and pick up something to wile away the rainy days.

Laketown Leaders enjoyed fellowship and their season end supper recently.
