Host family sought

Interested in hosting a foreign high school student? Global Partners Institute is looking for a host family for a 16- year-old student coming from Japan at the end of August.

Haruki Tsuji turned 16 in March, plays piano, guitar and volleyball. He has applied to come to Canada to improve his spoken English and experience Canadian life. GPI has already found host families for two other Japanese students, but needs a host family for Haruki as soon as possible.

A host family, for GPI, must consist of at least two people, have English as a first language, have a private bedroom available for the student and be able to provide three meals a day, including a bagged lunch on school days. Haruki will be arriving in North Battleford to attend John Paul II Collegiate Aug.26, so GPI needs to find him a host family as soon as possible.

For more information about GPI, visit www.gpicanada.com. If you would like to host Haruki, contact Jeannette Eddolls at 306-763-4127 or by email at jeannette@gpicanada.com
