I read the article about the swim club’s rent being increased 10 times the current amount. This is incredible.
Many people in the Battlefords have worked hard to raise money to build the CUPlex. The slogan was “Build it and they will come.” If the swim clubs have to fold because they can’t pay this huge rental fee, no one will be coming.
To those proposing this rent, try again and make it reasonable and acceptable to everyone who would like to swim in the new aquatic centre.
