Woman dies in car-pedestrian collision

The woman injured in a car-pedestrian collision Monday morning has died .

The Estevan Police Service and EMT personnel were called to an accident at the intersection of Souris Avenue and Third Street at 8:50. Estevan RCMP also responded to the scene of the incident.

In a press release the EPS said a 62-year-old woman was injured after she was hit by a truck while crossing the road. She was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital and later passed away from her injuries.

The name of the victim has not been released pending the notification of her family
