Garbage arsonists on the prowl

Garbage arsonists were busy in the city of North Battleford early Tuesday morning.

North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services responded to three separate trash receptacle fires between 1:30 and 2:30 a.m.

Dumpster fires were located in the 1100 block of 106th Street and a trash can on the east side of Connaught School was also extinguished.

The fires were attended to by one fire truck and three firefighters.

NBFES also assisted at the scene of a minor two-vehicle crash at about 5 p.m. Monday. One vehicle was towed from the scene of the accident at the intersection of 102nd Street and 19th Avenue.
