DEMYON: Myron Michael: March 24, 1940 – July 13, 2012: It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Myron at his home in North Battleford, SK. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, Elsie; daughters: Melanie, Saskatoon, SK and Lorylle (partner, Greg Miko) and their son, Stan, Saskatoon, SK; brother: Orest (Bernadette) Demyon and children: Ryan and Kimberly, Sandwith, SK; sister: Sally (Stuart) Wilson and children: Michael and Julia, Prince George, BC; uncle: Harry (Bertha) Demyon, rural North Battleford, SK; aunts: Nettie Furda, Thunder Bay, ON; Polly Smith, North Battleford, SK; Katie Lipinski, North Battleford, SK; Helen Barabash, Edmonton, AB, Mary Padd, Saskatoon, SK; uncle: Walter Pidwerbeski, Moose Jaw, SK as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. Myron was predeceased by his grandparents: Wasyl (1947) and Rosalia (1965) Demyon; Les (1960) and Mary (1980) Pidwerbeski; parents: Mike (1999) and Julia (1980) Demyon; in-laws: Frank (1992) and Annie (2006) Marchewka as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Prayer Service was held Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. and Divine Liturgy, Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Fr. Vladimir Simunovic, Celebrant; both Services from All Saints Ukrainian Catholic Church, North Battleford, SK. The Cross Bearer was Jeff Croteau and Cantor, Ann Prystupa. The Honourary Pallbearers were “All Those Who Shared In Myron’s Life” and Active Pallbearers were Dennis Demyon, Ray Klimchuk, Ray Koshykowski, Norman Woytowich, Gordon Pidwerbeski and Edward Marchewka. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan. Cremation followed.
