“Yorkton Rotary is very pleased to support The Health Foundation’s campaign raising funds for an additional ultrasound machine. Adding another ultrasound machine will reduce the need to travel to Regina by reducing our wait times. Rotary supports projects that will provide a benefit to many people; additional ultrasound equipment will do that and that’s why we decided to make this donation,” said Lori Walsh, President of Yorkton Rotary. “Rotary supports many organizations and projects every year; we are a service club and part of our mandate is to give back to the community. Generally like to provide some support to The Health Foundation because healthcare affects so many people, and adding new services benefits the community in many ways”, she continued. “We are really grateful for this donation and the continuing support of Yorkton Rotary,” said Ross Fisher, Executive Director of The Health Foundation. “Successfully raising the money for an additional ultrasound machine will make a significant difference in how long it takes people to get the tests they need.” “We hope other organizations and businesses will follow the example of the Rotary and make a contribution,” continued Mr. Fisher.
