Drug charges laid following search

Drug charges have been laid following a search executed on a North Battleford residence.

Charged are Collin William Cummer, 30, and Pamela Lynn Wright, 26, both of North Battleford.

Both have been charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime. They have both been released from custody and are due to appear in North Battleford court Sept. 13.

Aug. 16, North Battleford Provincial GIS with assistance from Municipal GIS, Detachment members and Police Dog Services executed a CDSA search warrant on a residence in the 2000 block of 101st Street.

During the search, police seized a half-ounce of marijuana, approximately $1,000 in cash, a digital scale, and other evidence.
