DUBUC - Newborn welcomed

Congratulations to Ellisha (Stadel) and Jason Maki of Lanigan on the arrival of their son, Lincoln Jason Allan Maki at 5:57 AM on Monday, September 10. He was just over 8 pounds and 20.5 inches long. Congratulations also to his big sister, Keely-Shay, and brother, Slade, who were excited to meet the new addition to their family.

The monthly potluck supper was held on the second Wednesday of September. There was a great turnout of around 30 people to enjoy the tasty dishes on the supper table. Joan Kerr was the winner of the door prize, a cookbook donated by Margaret Ellwood. Don Bell was the lucky winner of the 50/50 draw.

Prayers and get well wishes from the community go out to Matt Smith who is in the hospital in Edmonton.

Get well wishes also to Jim Talbot who is recuperating at home again following a day surgery on Monday.
