Man dies in Neudorf rollover

The driver of a pickup truck is dead following a rollover accident Sunday on Hwy 22 just west of Neudorf.

On Sunday at 7:40 pm, members form the Melville RCMP, the Neudorf Fire Department and EMS responded to a single vehicle rollover on Hwy 22 one kilometre west of Neudorf. A ford pickup truck had been eastbound on Hwy 22 when the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled several times down the centre of the highway. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was ejected from the truck and died at the scene.

An RCMP reconstructionist attended the accident scene and will be assisting the Melville detachment with the investigation.

Road conditions at the time of the accident were good and not considered a factor. The name of the driver will not be released.

The investigation is ongoing.
