Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP have arrested three suspects related to a double homicide on the Standing Buffalo First Nation October 11.
Brittany Bear, 21, Kody Bear, 22 and a 17-year-old male who cannot be named under the provisions of the youth criminal justice act are charged with first degree murder in the deaths of Jessica Redman, 27 and Sheldon Yuzicappi, 28 years from the Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation
A press release credited investigators working closely with the Chief, council and band members of the Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation with the two accused males giving themselves up to the Fort Qu'Appelle detachment this weekend.
Kody Bear and the 17-year-old male's first appearances in provincial court will be in Fort Qu'Appelle Monday at 10:00 a.m. Brittany Bear's next appearance will be Thursday, in Regina at 2 p.m.
