Minor injuries in Parkland Mall collision

Police Fire and EMS responded to an accident at Parkland Mall just before noon.

A collision between two SUVs at the Broadway entrance to Parkland Mall is being cleared by RCMP and Yorkton Fire Protective Services.

The accident occurred just before noon. Police, Fire and EMS responded blocking the westbound lane of Broadway Avenue and the entrance to the mall. Deputy Fire Chief, Trevor cited reports of injuries and the high traffic nature of the intersection as the reason for the large response.

On the scene, emergency workers discovered only minor injuries and are working to clear the intersection and reconstruct the accident.
