DUBUC - New Grandma

Pink Bootie Congratulations to Josh and Natalia Edlin on the birth of a daughter, Cadence Lynn Marie, on Wed., Oct. 17. Congrats also to Great Grandma Doris and Dan Krepakevich from Yorkton and first-time Grandma Deanna (Sean) Letestu of Mortlach.

Coffee Row was well attended on Saturday morning when Margaret Ellwood and Bun Flick treated everyone to ‘free’ coffee, ham and cheese buns and a lovely assortment of sweets. Bun’s daughter, Cindy Degenhardt and her children, Matthew and McKenzie were visitors at coffee row that morning. Thanks so much, birthday girls! We hope you had great birthday celebrations.

Doug Morley has returned from a week long visit back home in Ontario. While there he attended the wedding celebrations for his niece, so he was able to get in lots of visiting with family and friends.

The monthly community birthday party was held the fourth Wednesday again for October. Shuffleboard games and whist were played followed by a lunch including, of course, birthday cake brought by Audrey Nielsen. 16 people enjoyed the afternoon social. Happy Birthday was sung to the October babies in attendance: Bun Flick, Margaret Ellwood and Ivan Flick. Hope you all have a happy, healthy year ahead.

Sandra Forsberg of Saskatoon came to spend a week with her Mom, Mary Forsberg, and stayed a few extra days when the first winter storm of the season blew into Saskatchewan and created havoc with the roads. They visited with Judy Talbot, Myrtle Forsberg, and Gladys and Len Simle at Sumner Place in Esterhazy. Because of her extended stay, Sandra was still here and was able to attend the monthly community birthday party at the Hut.
