Yorkton firefighters contain a blaze at York-Sask Dry Cleaners on First Avenue Tuesday night.

The Yorkton Fire Department has ruled out arson in a fire Tuesday night at York-Sask Dry Cleaners.

Deputy Fire Chief Greg Litvanyi said investigators determined the cause was electrical. Firefighters were able, with an interior attack to contain the blaze to the basement with minor extension to the main floor, he said.

There were no injuries and only minor smoke damage to adjoining businesses.

Litvanyi said there was no fire damage to any customers' clothing, but it is yet to be determined the extent of smoke damage.

The value of damage to the business is also undetermined.
