Kaitlyn Polegi - -

Kaitlyn Polegi

Each month a male and a female student is selected as the SHHS Saint of the Month. Saint of the Month students are nominated by staff and students of SHHS. The selection is based on: Demonstrating Christian Values, School work, School Involvement, Leadership, and Community Involvement.

Kaitlyn is a respectful and mature young lady. She is kind, a great friend and she gets along with everyone, both young and old. Kaitlyn tries hard in all her classes and comes to school early to get extra help if she needs it. She has been in Ukrainian dance for many years with Willowbrook, is in 4H in Springside and is on the Saint of the Month committee. Kaitlyn is on the retreat leadership team with Sacred Heart and she attends St. Gerard's parish regularly.

Andrew has an excellent sense of humour and makes others laugh. He helps out with his brothers and family. Andrew is in AP math, is on the honour roll, has great attendance, is seldom late and is a very successful in math contests. Andrew has been a strong player and a huge leader on the football team for the last 4 years being very committed to the program and never gave up, even when it was hard. He is a flight Sgt. with cadets, participating in Remembrance Day services and also finds time to be a judge for Kees Taekwondo. Andrew attends St. Gerard's parish where he has been an altar server for many years and is a youth leader in the church.

Sacred Heart High School would like to thank Western Financial Group for sponsoring Sacred Heart's Saint of the Month.

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Polegi and Andrew Bazin for winning Saint of the Month for December.
