RCMP to hold recruiting event for women

The RCMP is hiring!

An opportunity for women interested in a career nowhere near ordinary

(Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) - The Royal Canadian Mounted Police offers a challenging and exciting career to those interested in making a difference in their communities and their country.  We’re looking for people from all walks of life to join Canada’s national police service.

As part of the RCMP’s efforts to recruit more women to the policing career, the Saskatoon Recruiting unit has organized a Women in Policing event for Saskatchewan women who may be interested in a law-enforcement career. This two-hour event will feature female police officers from different sections within the RCMP. Recruiters will conduct a Power Point presentation and all members in attendance will share their own career experiences and stories.

Women who attend this special event will have the unique opportunity to hear from a cross-section of female RCMP members and those who attend will gain an understanding of what it’s like to be a police officer with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

The RCMP offers more than 150 different types of duties, so regardless of a person’s background, there is a career for everyone who becomes a member of our prestigious organization.
