This photo was previously published four years ago in the History Corner, but now featured again — this time with the names of the three men, James Shingoose, Ben Cote (standing) and William Favel. The address given is Kamsack, Sask. The City Archives would like more information about the men in the photo. The record cites 1905 as year the photo was taken.
Next year, it will be 140 years since the signing of Treaty No. 4 at Fort Qu'Appelle, September 15, 1874. The Cree-Saulteaux Band under Chief Gabriel Cote were signatories on the documents of the Treaty. Gabriel Cote was also known as Mee-may.
