Charolais genetics were highlighted during a feeder cattle sale at Heartland Livestock in Yorkton last week. The day saw approximately 1,200 Char-cross calves go through the sale ring. The sale was supported by area Charolais breeders including; Cougar Hill, Wilf and Ruth Neilson of Melville; Diamond W, Walker family of Hudson Bay; Hunter Charolais of Roblin, MB; Laurel Creek, Moulding family of Abernethy; Neilson Cattle Company of Willowbrook; Sliding Hills Charolais, Weinbender family of Canora.
