It was another year of important events and fun outings in Yorkton and area in 2013. A B17 bomber visited the Yorkton Airport in the summer. Former CFL star Michael "Pinball" Clemons was a speaker at a Big Brothers and Big Sisters event.

A day dedicated to horse farming was held in Buchanan.

A world record for threshing machines in action was held at Langenburg.

The Counting Coup Rodeo was again held in the summer, as was the annual Painted Hand Casino Powwow.
