BREDENBURY - Family Day coffee set

Comments

Get well wishes to Olga Mosiman who had surgery last week at Yorkton Hospital from the Community of Bredenbury & District.

On Mon., Feb. 17 there will be no coffee at the Busy Bees in the afternoon as it is “Family Day”. Coffee Feb. 24, afternoon only. March 3 coffee will resume being served mornings and afternoons on Monday.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the United Church noon beef luncheon on Wed., Feb. 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If anyone would like a take-out dinner call Irene at 306-898-2052.

The Bredenbury Lion’s Club will have a different format to their sliding party this year. They are holding it at the Busy Bees where games and fun activities will be held. Hot dogs and hot chocolate will be served. If weather permits, children may wish to go sliding on the hill after these events. Party begins at 1:00 p.m.

Bredenbury Cougars are playing in the provincials against Wawota. They played Saturday in Wawota winning 5-3. Next game will be held in Churchbridge on Sat., Feb. 15 at 8:00 p.m. It’s a two game total point series. Come out & support the Cougars.

Congratulations from the Community of Bredenbury & District to the cast of “the Scrap Heap Kids and the Alley Cat” by Stephen Farquharson. What great acting, entertainment and good food for all those who were in attendance at the performances held in Saltcoats this past weekend. Great job by all.
