Family Justice Services offers the Parenting After Separation and Divorce Program. These public information sessions are intended to help people who are considering or may be in the separation/divorce process. Sessions will be offered in: Yorkton: Sat., March 15, 2014, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; Sat., April 12, 2014, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Registration is mandatory. There is no fee for these sessions. The Yorkton and District Horticultural Society will be holding their next regular meeting on Thurs., March 20 at 7 p.m. in the Sunshine Room at SIGN on North Street. On Fri., March 7, the women of Egypt invite you to join with them in the World Day of Prayer celebration, praying under the theme, “Streams in the desert”. Each year the World day of Prayer service brings with it a feeling of curiosity. What will challenge, inspire and encourage us? What will we learn about the theme and the focus country? What will we learn about ourselves? Please join us and invite your friends and family to attend the World Day of Prayer service and learn more about the culture and heritage of Egypt. Join Christians in more than 170 countries around the world and 2,000 communities across Canada who will gather on the World Day of Prayer to pray and act in solidarity with the people of Egypt. A local World Day of Prayer service will be held at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church on Thurs., March 13 @ 7:00 p.m.

The Yorkton Arts Council is delighted to announce the next concert in the 2013-2014 “Stars For Saskatchewan” concert series: “Infinitus” on Sun., March 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Anne Portnuff Theatre, Yorkton Regional High School. Infinitus is a critically acclaimed beatboxing string trio known for their unique sound and upbeat performance style.
