Prodigal son Ron Kozan returned to Yorkton for a book launch and signing at Coles Books on Friday, May 9th. Ron  grew up in Yorkton and attended school K-12 until he went off to Regina for university. A degree in engineering and later psychology and business led him to Ottawa where he now resides. However, Ron’s visit to Yorkton was to launch his first published novel — “Break Away 1977”. The book is set in Yorkton and revolves around the lives, friendships, angst of 3 teenage characters. The story is told, primarily, through journal entries and tape recordings (remember 1977?). There is a touch of mystery, and sci-fi. See if you remember Yorkton in 1977.
