Parkland College Corporate Training is pleased to introduce a new leadership and management certificate as part of a partnership with PRIME Learning Group, a British Columbia-based leader in professional development training.

The new Leadership and Management Certificate program will be offered at Parkland College in Yorkton beginning this June. It is delivered in a series of four modules, conveniently scheduled in two-day blocks throughout the year, which provide practical results for use in the modern workplace. The series deals with fundamentals, communication, technical management, and leading with impact.

“Successful companies know the importance leadership plays in their success and invest continuously in leadership development,” said Alanna Dean, Director of Corporate Development at PRIME Learning Group.

Registrations are being accepted for the first training series on Fundamentals. The first two units on this series will be delivered June 24 and 25 in Yorkton.

“Leadership and management are essential skills in constructing an effective workplace,” said Michael Cameron, Director of Training and Business Development at Parkland College. “This series offers a foundational understanding of the knowledge and skills necessary to become a good leader.”

Interested individuals can register now or arrange for an on-site consultation by calling the College’s Business & Training Representatives: Ed Hourd at 306.641.9171 or Darrell Landels at 306.620.6694.
