Montreal police say two bodies found inside a burning car

MONTREAL - Montreal police say two bodies were found inside a burning car in the central part of the city this morning.

A police spokesman says they were alerted by several 911 calls around mid-morning that a car was on fire on the side of a street.

Spokesman Daniel Lacoursiere says the two charred bodies were discovered after firefighters put out the flames.

Police have not yet identified the victims and the cause of the fire isn't known.
