Andréa L’Heureux and Rick Scott Prairies Tour 2015 - Hymns For Her in Prairie Bloom. Introducing a new Canadian singer/songwriter in a duo with a veteran folk artist.

Andréa L’Heureux and Rick Scott Prairies Tour 2015 - Hymns For Her in Prairie Bloom. Introducing a new Canadian singer/songwriter in a duo with a veteran folk artist. In the summer of 2015, Andréa L’Heureux will return to her roots in the Prairies, accompanied by dulcimer wizard Rick Scott. Playing inspirational music in mostly intimate settings, The Prairie Tour will bring Andréa’s HYMNS FOR HER to a much wider audience, and serve as a springboard for local, regional and national publicity. Andréa began piano at age 4 and spent her childhood singing in the family station wagon in Saskatchewan. She sang in choirs and as a soloist at morning mass. She won a United Church Scholarship and studied voice at the Royal Conservatory in Winnipeg. Funded in part by a FACTOR demo grant, HYMNS FOR HER was released in October 2014 with concerts on Vancouver Island and airplay across North America. To date it has sold over 300 copies. The Prairie tour starts in her hometown of Moose Jaw, followed by shows in Yorkton, Boissevaine, and Winnipeg. Andrea will be playing at the Yorkton Memorial Gardens on July 3.
