Diane Jones, current president of the group, was the emcee. The performers featured at the gala were present and past students of the Yorkton Registered Music Teachers. During the program, several presentations were made; A certificate was given to Elfreide Piller, honoring her for 25 years as a registered music teacher with the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers Association. In memory of the late Jean Laube, a scholarship was presented to Kaitlyn Dimler. In the fall, Kaitlyn will be beginning her Bachelor in Music. A tribute was also made to Thelma Gillis. Thelma was given a standing ovation from the crowd for her involvement in forming the group and being a published composer of Canadian Music.
