The Fort Qu'Appelle RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing 17 year old male. Leslie Whitebear was last seen leaving the Echo Valley Youth Center on November 15 at 5:00 p.m. RCMP received a call from Echo Valley Staff who reported that they followed Whitebear on foot but lost sight of him when he ran into the bush. At that point they called the RCMP who initiated a missing person investigation.
Assisting in the search is an RCMP police services dog. The dog and handler followed a track from the Echo valley Youth center towards the Standing Buffalo First nation. The track ended at Highway 210 so it is possible that Whitebear was picked up by a vehicle and driven away. He was last seen wearing a blue toque, a black bunny hug, a black ski jacket and black pants.
