Congratulations! It's a baby boy! Kayle Allan Wade Schlechter was born Friday, Sept. 10 to proud parents, Jared Schlechter & Allyssa Freed of Waldron. First time grandparents are Sheldon & Charmaine Freed of Stockholm and Allan & Darlene Schlechter of Yorkton. Great grandparents are Ken & Elaine Keller, Gary & Pat Chesney, Doreen Schlechter, (the late) Brenda Pederson and Robert Freed. Great-great grandmothers are Dagmar Moller and Kay Chesney. Randelyn and Hunter Freed and Chelsea Schlechter (Darren Dorosh) are all excited first-time aunties. Special wishes to Kay, Gary, Darlene & Jared as with them, Kayle completes 5 generations in their family.

Bob Davies owned his father's Model A Ford car and had made arrangements for the Bangor Heritage Club to look after it when he couldn't any longer. Brian Jones, Don Tatton, Gavin Leech and Doug Ward motored into Dubuc to Bob's Place to take the car to be stored in Bangor. The car was completely original and Bob drove it in many parades in the surrounding area. We will all look forward to seeing it every July when the Club hosts their heritage day celebration.

Cian & Jeff Beck of London, Ont, Chad Yaremko from Toronto, Ont and Jordon Blake from Victoria, BC all arrived at Earle and Nina Moller's to join the girls who had come to visit a week earlier. Cian actually came "the long road" from London as he was on his way home from Tofino. Heather Moller, Jeff Beck and son, Cian returned home on Saturday. Chad Yaremko and sister, Hali Yaremko & Jordon Blake and new son, William all flew out of Regina on Sunday. Chad & Hali and her family also spent some time in Yorkton visiting with their Dad, Ron & Suzette Yaremko.

Visitors at coffee row this past week were Margie & Ed Oldham and Carolyn (Moore) Thauberger who have been spending time in the village at their "homes away from home".

Condolences from the community go out to Marty, Renee, Cassandra and Braden Nagy of Dubuc, Vicky Rieger from Morris Lodge in Bangor, Trina & Lloyd Nagy of Esterhazy and other family members on the passing of daughter, sister and auntie, Linda Rieger, of Saskatoon on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at the age of 59. The funeral was held at St. Phillip's Roman Catholic Church in Saskatoon on Sept 20.

Ivy Bauldrey from Prince Albert was home to spend a few days with her mom, Mary Ramstead, who had surgery on Friday. Get well wishes from the community, Mary!

Get well soon also goes out to Joan Harris of Esterhazy who has had recent surgery. Riley and Ashalee Talbot have been helping to "look after" grandma - the roles have reversed!!!

Nina and Earle Moller accompanied by Doug Morley drove Lydia Zimmer to Regina Tues., Sept. 21 for a medical appointment.
