Culture Days 2011 "Celebrating Saskatchewan's Place in Canada's Culture" Western Development Museum - Yorkton, Sat., Oct. 1, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Join us at the Yorkton WDM as we celebrate the cross-Canada Culture Days movement. This year we are encouraging children to bring someone along from an older generation - a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or even a neighbour - to work together on a reminiscence activity book. Also part of the even will be screenings of videos from the Yorkton Film Festival. This is a great opportunity to see some of the latest productions from Canada's top filmmakers. Members of the Yorkton Threshermen's Club will have muffins, cookies and refreshments for sale to round out an enjoyable afternoon at the Museum.
