The 55 Alive driver course is designed to help Canadians to maintain their independence and their driving privileges. Many interesting topics and rules of the road will be covered. The Yorkton Arts Council brings you the sparkling sounds of the holiday season as they proudly present the next Stars For Saskatchewan concert: Jimmy Rankin, on Wed., Dec. 4, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. in the Anne Portnuff Theatre, Yorkton Regional High School. Jimmy will be sharing seasonal selections from his own Christmas recording "Tinsel Town", along with favorites from his own extensive solo and Rankin Family catalogue. At the Godfrey Dean Gallery: Two Perspectives - Mel Bolen and Karen Holden, Oct. 21 - Dec. 15. Mel Bolen is one of Saskatchewan's most accomplished ceramic artists. This exhibition features his sculptural work along with oil paintings by Karen Holden that explore their response to landscape, nature and beauty.
