DuPont Pioneer has announced that as part of its Full Belly! Full Mind! initiative that supports nutrition and breakfast programs across Canada, $2,000 has been donated to Victoria School in Kamsack.

The grant will be specifically used to fund the expansion of the school nutrition program by including a hot breakfast once a week. The program will be available to approximately 223 students from pre-kindergarten to grade four.

“DuPont Pioneer recognizes the important role good nutrition plays in academic success,” says Delaine Mandziak, DuPont Pioneer account manager. “We are proud to be a part of the excellent work this school is doing to support all its students.”

“With our nutrition program, we can decrease the behavioural issues in the school and have children ready and focused for the day,” says Heather Netzel, community school coordinator, Victoria School. “We thank DuPont Pioneer for their generosity in helping our students succeed in school.”
