Raise The Woof

This year marks the 4th Annual Raise the Woof Christmas Party fundraiser for Guardian Angel Animal Rescue.   Raise The Woof is a stand up comedy event that works with animal shelters and rescue groups to get much needed fundraising. Raise The Woof was created by comedian and producer James Uloth who has raised over $1, 000,000 for various charities. With nearly 10 years experience in performing and producing, he brings a fun-filled show with strong branding matched with quality performances by all entertainers on the lineup. We are very fortunate this year as James Uloth himself will be attending our Christmas Party along with other great talent out of Regina Tim Kehler and Adam Lojewski.

This will be our second year partnering with the Yorkton SPCA which we are excited about as well. This partnership has brought our rescue group so much closer to the SPCA and has allowed us both the opportunity to work toward the same goal together which is helping animals in need. We are very proud of this event and are truly thankful for the community support we receive. Many local business’ have generously donated items for auction and have shown support by attending our event.

This year’s Christmas Party will be held at St. Mary’s Cultural Centre on Saturday, December 3, 2016. There is a supper consisting of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, perogies, cabbage rolls, salads and deserts. And as you know, St. Mary’s always puts on a great feast! Following supper the comedians perform and all is followed by a dance. There are silent auctions, door prizes and a 50/50 draw. Along with the silent auction items we will be auctioning  a remote car starter, donated by Jason Gabert along with 2 tickets to see Jerry Seinfeld perform in Regina on December 16 (donated by Wayne and  Sharon Zborosky). We even have a professional auctioneer in attendance so it is sure to be exciting!
