Police are searching for stolen prescription drugs after a robbery in Melville last week.

In the evening of Nov. 28, a man wearing a black balaclava entered a pharmacy on 2 Avenue East in Melville. He stole various drugs and took off by foot. None of the staff were harmed.

The police are concerned about the 63 patches of Fentanyl the man stole. The opiod pain medication poses risks for those who have not received a prescription from their physician.

Yorkton General Investigation Section and Melville RCMP are asking the public to  help locate the man. If they come into contact with Fentanyl, they should not handle it and immediately call the police.

The man is described as being between 5’6” and 5’9” tall and 150-175 pounds with a noticeable gait. He wore red pajama pants, brown shoes, and an orange and grey coat.
