Commercial cattle big part of Harvest Showdown

Sale set for Friday

The Heartland Livestock Services Commercial Cattle Futurity Heifer Show was held at the Agripavilion today.

The show, which had judges picking the best pens-of-three heifers was part of activities at the 31st annual Grain Millers Harvest Showdown.

Other cattle events at the event include FCC Breeders’ Alley, the FCC Pen of Bulls Show, the Sweetheart Classic Jackpot Heifer Show Ryan Stillborn Memorial Youth Cattlemen Classic Thursday.

The Cornerstone Credit Union Commercial Cattle Show will get under way Friday at 11 a.m., with the commercial cattle sale at 4 p.m.
