Seeding under way in area

Overall, seeding progress in the province is at about 18 per cent according to the most recent provincial Crop Report. It is below the five-year average (2015-2019) of 25 per cent. 

The southwest region is leading the province, with 39 per cent of the crop seeded.

There is 23 per cent seeded in the southeast, 14 per cent seeded in the west-central, eight per cent seeded in the northwest, seven per cent seeded in the east-central and three per cent seeded in the northeast.
