Tea and Bake Sale, Sat., Dec. 2, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., St. Gerard’s Parish Complex, 125 3rd Avenue North, Yorkton. Christmas Baking, Christmas Pudding, Potato Bags, Rice Bags,  and “holiday sparkle” with gently-used jewellery, purses and scarves! Admission is $5.00. Everyone is welcome! Yorkton’s community theatre group Paper Bag Players is hosting their annual theatre Dec. 7 to 9. On Dec. 8 and 9 doors open at 6:30, supper served at 7:00 and performance begins at 8:00. Dec. 7 performance only starting at 7 p.m. This year’s play is the comedy ‘Bad Year for Tomatoes’ by John Patrick. “A hilarious comedy dealing with the very funny misfortunes of a famous television actress who seeks to “get away from it all” in  a small New England town.” Tickets are available at www.paperbagplayers.com.
