People are self-isolating during the COVID-19 pandemic, but have concerns about how to have essential groceries come to their door so they don’t have to leave their homes.
The News-Optimist has compiled a list of local grocery stores who deliver or will be setting a delivery service up.
29th Street Market – Plans are underway to set up a delivery system in the future.
Battleford Discovery Co-op – Have your grocery list ready prior to calling. Pharmacy essentials such as deodorant, shampoo and other items can be added to your order. Call 306-446-5510 between 9 and 11a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays only (Same day delivery). Pay at the door with debit/credit card. Discovery Co-op Pharmacy – To order for same day free delivery within North Battleford and Battleford city/town limits, have prescription renewal and c all 306-446-7213 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday to Friday. Pay at the door with debit/credit. Co-op members can include additional pharmacy items in prescription order.
