Ladies Night Out held

A very successful “Ladies Night Out” sponsored by the Bredenbury Golf Club was held this past weekend at the Bredenbury Hall. There are so many people to thank for making this event such a success.

There are so many people to thank for making this event such a success.

The businesses and individuals who donated prizes, raflles & money, the volunteers who planned, worked and set up the evening, the bartenders, the Bredenbury Bar and Grill for catering, ticket sellers, Trever Kerr for the entertainment and of course all those who attended this event. Special thanks to the Town of Bredenbury for all the support and help they have given towards this first “ladies Night Out”. It was greatly appreciated.

A $1000 draw was made and the winner was Melissa Reader of Regina. Thank you to all who purchased tickets. A basket raffle valued at over $500 donated  by Sagebrush Studios of Churchbridge was won by Jean Thorsness of Bredenbury. Thank you to all who purchased asquare. The door prize donated by Bredenbury Bar and Grill was won by Stacy Byczynski of Bredenbury.

Sandra and Kent Ritchie of Swift Current were visiting with family and relatives. While here Kent was helping Nathan at the farm.

Church Services for October held in Bredenbury: Oct. 18, 9:30; Joint Service, Oct. 25, 9:30.

The first noon luncheon will be held on Oct. 28 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the Knox United Church. Take out orders are available. Everyone Welcome.

Craft Sale – Sat., Nov. 28, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. in the Bredenbury Community Hall. Tables are $15. You may contact Margaret, 306-898-2122 or Louise, 306-898-2034. Book early to avoid disappointment as we have had quite a few bookings already.

Ralph and Lori Kindrachuk of Saskatoon brought Peter home from Saskatoon. They visited with family over the weekend.
