A committee meeting of the Celebrate Canada’s 150 birthday was held last Tuesday. Plans are underway for a Bredenbury Day celebration on Saturday, June 24, 2017 so mark your calendars and tell your friends and relatives about this celebration.

A very delicious beef dinner was served at the Bredenbury United Church on Wednesday. A big thank you to all who attended, donated and worked to make this a very successful day. Thanks to all those who took “take out” dinners. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to Sheldon and Megan Ritchie of Houston, Texas on the safe arrival of little daughter, a sister of Levi. Proud grandparents Barry and Caril Ritchie who have gone to Houston to see them.

Hockey Season is beginning in Bredenbury and the Bredenbury Cougars will be playing in the league this year again. Their first game is in Whitewood on Nov. 5. First home game Nov. 19. Watch for more details.

Gloria, Brian, Shirley and Tyson Herron were in Estevan this past weekend as Tyson was playing in a hockey tournament.

Congratulations from the Town of Bredenbury district to Edward Patzwald (TTM) from Churchbridge who was honoured with Outstanding New Journeypersons award in Regina whis past weekend. Edward, Kendra & Abby were former residents of Bredenbury.

The Bredenbury gym membership is growing. People are enjoying the new bench press and curl bar. Membership is only $30/month. Think of joining and working out this winter.

Remembrance Day Service will be held Friday, Nov. 11 at 10:45 in the Bredenbury Hall. Everyone Welcome. Bredenbury Lions will be looking after the service.
