Good Neighbour Centre active spot

The Calder Good Neighbour Center has been very busy the last few months. Here are some of the winners from the whist drive: Norman Wozny, Anne Mostoway, Marge Mankish, low Judy Pryslak. The Pot of Gold winners are Mildred Danylko and Marjory Mankish.

Whist Drive winners: Elmer Eftoda, Jim Fustey, Arnold Balabuk, low Virginia Wandy. The Pot of gold winners are Elmer Eftoda and Arthur Martinuk.

More whist drive winners: Gerald Shymko, Arthur Martinuk, Donna Fustey, low Virginia Wandy. The Pot of Gold winers are Elmer Eftoda and Arthur Martinuk.

Whist Drive winners are Arnold Balabuk, Donna Fustey, Jim Fustey, low, Mildred Danylko. The Pot of Gold winners are Norman Wozny and Marjory Mankish.

The Calder Good Neighbour Centre held their Birthday Social. People who had birthdays were as follows: Gordon Kahut, Lil Wozny, Marjory Mankish, Marie Rohatensky, and Norman Wozny. Hope you all had a great Birthday.

The winners from the birthday social whist drive were as follows: Marjory Mankish, Jack Miller, Norman Wozny, low Marlene Miller and Gordan Kahut. The Pot of Gold winners where Donna Fustey and Gordan Kahut.

The Good Neighbour Centre held their invitational Whist Drive and here are the winners: Arnold Balabuk, Ann Mostoway, Marie Rohatensky, Walter Haberstock of Langenburg, and low Fred Nermier of Langenburg.

The Pot of Gold winners were Doreen Johnson and Ann Mostoway.

The Door Prize winner was Marlene Miller.

The raffles were won by Bertha Putland, Rober Doubleday, Ann Mostoway, Virginia Wandy, Irene Scherloski, Ashley Korpelin, Doreen Johnson, Mildred Danylko, Lil Wozny, Norman Wozny and Walter Balabuk.

The Calder Parkland Regional Library held their Playschool Graduation. Grads were Liam Adam, Vince Sobkow, Michael Gabriel, Wyatt Antony, Parker Marshall, Kale Andres, Rosie Gabriel, Osdessa Fesik and Kyla Rapchalk.

The Playschool students gave their parents bumble bee pots with solar light for their gardens. In their grad hats, the students received their diplomas. After that we sat down to enjoy our pizza, fruit, and cupcakes and ice cream.

Calder Playschool will start up again in October at the Calder Parkland Regional Library. So if you know someone who has a three year old or a four year old, who would like to come out once a week for some fun. Come to the meeting in September.

Kindergarten Registration was held at the Calder School. If you know of any children in our attendance area, born in 2011, who have not registered please contact the Calder School at 306-742-2134.

Grade eight bands will be taking part in the Moose Jaw Band Festival.

The Grade 6-8 will take part in the Track and field meet at the YRHS. Parents are welcome to attend.
